Mix together:
- 1 cup corn starch
- 1/2 cup conditioner
- 3-4 drops lavender essential oil
- 4-5 drops purple food coloring

Why it works:
This tactile sensory activity stimulates nearly all of the senses while producing a calming effect. These stimulating aspects allow children to fully focus on what they are doing, bringing them to the present and encouraging mindfulness. The addition of the lavender scent promotes a soothing effect.
This activity is perfect to use whenever your child is stressed, anxious, having trouble focusing, or if they’re having trouble sleeping!
